Girish Venkataraman, MD, is Associate Professor and director of Clinical Immunohistochemistry Laboratory at University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences, Chicago, IL. Dr. Venkataraman received his medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, India, and is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as in clinical hematopathology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute. He is a diagnostic hematopathologist with over 50 publications in hematopathology related to lymphomas including Hodgkin lymphomas well as leukemias. He has a special interest in lymphoma diagnostics and education. He is the Editor in Chief of the American Society of Hematology Image bank, member of the Chicago lymphoma rounds LRF Steering committee and served on the CAP Quality Practices Committee.
