Dr. Sarah Mae Lammert is a current PGY-2 AP/CP resident who recently was awarded the 2024 Society for Pediatric Pathology Resident Recruitment Award for her abstract titled Pediatric Asthma at Autopsy: A case report and brief retrospective autopsy review. This project was inspired by an interest in thoracic and pediatric pathology as well as an intrigue for how historical data may provide insights for the future. She has been awarded $4000 to travel to the joint SPP/PPS fall meeting in Dublin, Ireland, where she will present her work and meet international leaders in the field of pediatric pathology.
