We are a multidisciplinary team with a passion for understanding immune T-cell responses in health and diseases. We study Tregs, unique cells in our body that specialize in preventing autoimmune diseases. We take the unique perspective to look at cellular interactions, i.e. how Tregs talk to other cells to do maintain tolerance, promote tissue homeostasis, and contribute to pathogenesis. We explore the role of Tregs directly in human tissues using Systems and Synthetic Biology approaches that illuminate these interactions.
